Rafael is a music producer at Globo, the largest TV network in Latin America and second largest in the world, responsible for writing music daily for series, novelas and publicity.
Game music was the main inspiration for Rafael to become a full-time composer. He wrote the soundtrack to the critically acclaimed SanctuaryRPG: Black Edition, among many other indie games.
Rafael is a prolific writer of concert music, having written two symphonic scores, several pieces for gamelan ensembles, a series of seven string quartets and a vast library of chamber works.
MUSIC FOR THEATER
Rafael was nominated for a Shell Award for his very first theater soundtrack: O Camareiro, starring legendary actors Tarcísio Meira and Kiko Mascarenhas.
In partnership with production companies Drive Audio and Gomus, Rafael has written music for huge clients such as Senac and Coca-Cola.
As a sound designer, Rafael has worked in several hit and upcoming indie titles such as Rivals of Aether, Katana ZERO and Boot Hill Heroes 2.
